It Begins!!

Hey Ladies,

Yesterday I tried to sign up for a 1 month membership at LA fitness but the man told me that it $75. That's a bunch of bull! There is no way that I'm paying $75 dollars for ONLY ONE month. My hair is less that that or I could buy a great pair of shoes! So instead of joining the gym, I'm just gonna work out at my apartment complex.

Last night was my first night in a long time. I went and worked out for about an hour and a half. I did 30 minutes on the treadmill, 20 minutes on the bike (with arm weights), 20 minutes on the elliptical, and 100 abs. I did this all while watching dancing with the stars and the new season of the bachelorette :) My bedtime is usually 9-10pm, but I told myself that I had to excise NO MATTER WHAT! I always use time as an excuse but NO MORE!

I did eat before I worked out (a black bean burger, yummy) but afterwards I was so hungry . Does anyone have any good ideas on a snack that I can eat after I exercise but is not too heavy? Last night I ate cheese and some light potato chips (they had only 75 calories). I was thinking out trying hard boiled eggs tonight.

Today, I'm going to walk honey for 2 miles then go to the gym for at least an hour. I'll let ya'll know how my walk goes.

Oh, I almost forgot. The other week I got some pants from Old Navy that were too tight and I could barely pull them up but they were on sell ($13). Also, I needed some jeans because my Maternity Jeans are too big and my Pre-Nyla jeans still don't fit :( like they used to. Anywho, I tired the Old Navy jeans on this morning and guess what? They FIT! I'm wearing them now :)

My goal is to lose at least 10 pounds by the end of June! If I do, then I'm allowing myself to have a spa day before I go to Missouri. :) Who wants to join me?

  1. I'm always game for a congratulatory spa day (or spa day in general) so count me in!! Maybe we could do it at Chateau Elan after we go golfing! :)

  3. Hey Dom!!! Awesome on the drive to make it to the gym and exercise!! And congratulations on getting into the jeans! As for the snacks, I would recommend Yoplait Fat Free Yogurt, fresh fruit, or raw veggies like carrots and celery. For something in your car; try Special K 100 Calorie Granola Bars & Crystal Light On the Go packets as a quick way to mix with water (water bottle). I hope it helps! Keep up the great work!
