My Mon-Wed Report

So I've proved to myself I don't need Mark! Lol- no I really do, but I admit its easy to be lazy or unmotivated when your significant other doesn't have time to work out. It's easy for me to say "Okay, I'll skip tonight too...we'll get back on it tomorrow" We've also struggled with syncing our time just right so we could work out together and have dinner at a decent hour but we've come to realize we just might have work out separately to be successful. Sometimes he plays basketball right after work before doing P90X and I like to work out myself right after I come home from work. Then we end up making dinner late, etc. We're still having dinner after 9/9:30 though some nights. Not sure if we'll get that right. BUT, none of trying to sync anything anymore! For the last 3 nights I've done it all on my own! P90X has been my friend. :) I've started feeling better and feel like I really got my mind right now and can stay on track. When I don't feel like going anymore than I have to, I keep thinking of the weddings I'm going to this year, the engagement photos we're taking, the high school reunion, and of course our day next year! Those things keep me motivated....plus I just need to eat and live healthier!

  1. Well I'm glad you've gotten your motivation back and doing your thing! It took LaMonte and I a while to just accept that we will not be able to workout together. I like to do morning workouts and if he's not playing tennis in the morning he would rather sleep late, plus we sometime don't like to do the same workouts. So it's okay if you have to do it by yourself. As for the late dinner thing I completely understand I still can't get dinner done at a decent hour and I think it's worse on Sundays, my suggestion would be to eat a heavier meal at lunch time and have light veggies or something for dinner. I'm actually going to try that when I can eat real food.
